2025 NFL draft Round 1 live updates: Detroit Lions slated to pick 28th

More than 775,000 fans flooded Detroit to set NFL draft attendance records last year.

Green Bay is now on the clock.

The 2025 NFL draft outside Lambeau Field kicks off with the first round on Thursday (8 p.m., ABC/ESPN) with rounds two and three on Friday and four through seven on Saturday.

Tennessee owns the No. 1 pick and is widely expected to take Miami quarterback Cam Ward, which would leave Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter available for Cleveland at No. 2. We’ll see if that’s how it plays out and the draft is full of surprises every year.

The Lions aren’t slotted to pick until the 28th overall spot and this draft class should be heavy on former Wolverines. Michigan could have as many as four players picked in the first round, which would be a program record. Michigan State didn’t have a player invited to the combine and could be shut out for the second time in five years after having at least one selection 80 straight drafts.
