4/3/25

We have our first losing streak of the season. We knew the Yankees couldn’t score 20 runs every game, but it was reasonable to hope they wouldn’t drop the first two to this solid Diamondbacks team. To try and stop the skid, the Yankees have Carlos Carrasco on the mound, the pitcher who threw the pitch that led to yours truly getting hit in the face by a foul ball.

On the site today, check out Madison’s rundown of Wednesday’s AL action, and Matt’s writeup of the first game of the 2000 Yankees season as part of our 25th anniversary lookback. Also, Nick Power runs through the Yankees’ rotation depth, and Michael analyzes some early-season figures to keep an eye on as things progress.
