After the first of two expected rounds of severe weather rolled through central Ohio, thousands have been left in the dark.
Power outages began being reported around 2:30 p.m. April 29 during the first round of severe weather. A second round of storms is expected to come through the area in the evening hours.

As of 4:15 p.m. April 29, AEP reported the following power outages:
Franklin County: 8,420
Delaware County: 1,535
Licking County: 2,590
Fairfield County: 7,755
Madison County: 294
Pickaway County: 50
Union County reported no power outages.
As of 4:15 p.m. on April 29, First Energy reported the following power outages:
Franklin County: Fewer than 20
Madison County: 252
Union County: Fewer than 20
Delaware County: Fewer than 20
Fairfield, Licking and Pickaway counties reported no outages.
