How To Watch the Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5 Premiere

It’s been 11 months since Law & Order: Organized Crime fans last saw their favorite detectives in action, but the suspense will soon be over. 

Season 5 of the captivating crime drama is nearly here, and first-look glimpses of the latest installment prove that the wait was worth it. Explosions, scary crashes and car flips, troubling hospital scenes, and a less-than-ideal reunion between Det. Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and his former partner Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) are among the upcoming scenes teased in trailers.

As an added bonus, Dean Norris, who plays Stabler’s older brother Randall Stabler on the show, has been promoted to a series regular, and Jason Patric was cast in a recurring guest star role as Detective Tim McKenna.

Ainsley Seiger, and Rick Gonzalez are also back portraying Stabler’s colleagues at the  NYPD’s Organized Crime Control Bureau. Luckily for viewers, there’s more than one way to watch them in the Season 5 premiere of Law & Order: Organized Crime.

There are two options for viewers when it comes to catching the Law & Order: Organized Crime Season 5 premiere. While the first two episodes will premiere on Peacock on Thursday, April 17, there will also be a special airing of the premiere episode on NBC on April 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

After the first two episodes of Season 5 drop on Peacock on April 17, they will be followed by a new episode streaming every Thursday, through Episode 10. In addition, Seasons 1 through 4 of the series are already available on Peacock. 

Meloni stars in the series as Det. Elliot Stabler, a role he originated on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Organized Crime is set in New York City, where Stabler returned to after a decade abroad.

Stabler and his colleagues at the Organized Crime Control Bureau aim to dismantle some of New York’s most vicious and violent illegal enterprises.

Undercover expert Bobby Reyes (Gonzalez) and tech genius Jet Slootmaekers (Seiger) also work as detectives alongside Stabler under Sgt. Ayanna Bell (Truitt) 

Meanwhile, Stabler’s brother Randall (Norris) is home looking out for the rest of the family when Stabler is stuck on the job and working undercover.

Season 5 is set to cover the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism, and a crime family looking to get even with Stabler for what he he did to them while he was in Rome.
