Boston Celtics injury report: Jaylen Brown available for Suns game

BOSTON — Jaylen Brown is officially available and in as the Celtics face the Suns at 7:30 p.m. Friday at TD Garden. Brown was the lone player listed on the C’s injury report as he deals with right knee posterior impingement from the past few weeks.

Brown has dealt with those right knee issues recently. He said after the Heat loss that he was battling some pain, though he had a solid night. With Brown in, the Celtics are also at full strength as they’ll be able to play their full roster Friday.

“I’ve seen some specialists and stuff like that, but we’ve got a great medical staff and we’ve got good people around,” Brown said. “So come playoffs, my goal is to be feeling my best. So we’re just working through that, and it’s a thing that we kind of manage and you push through. But we’ve got a good plan in place. So come playoffs, my goal is to be feeling my best.”

The Suns return Bradley Beal to the lineup for the first time in eight games, so they’ll get that boost. However, Kevin Durant remains out with his sprained ankle he suffered earlier this week. Phoenix is currently battling for the play-in tournament as it’s 11th in the West, though it has a difficult schedule to close out the season.
