FAYETTEVILLE – The Texas A&M baseball team looks to extend its seven-game win streak as it travels to No. 2 Arkansas for a three-game set, starting Thursday night at 7 p.m. at Baum-Walker Stadium. Game two of the series is scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m., while Saturday’s finale is slated for 4 p.m.
Thursday’s series opener will air on SEC Network, while games two and three will be streamed on SECN+. All three games can be heard locally on SportsRadio 1150 AM/93.7 The Zone and fans can also follow along with the game through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Thursday’s contest marks the 104th meeting all-time between the Aggies (21-15, 6-9) and Razorbacks (33-5, 12-3). The Maroon & White lead the series 52-50-1 after claiming two of three a season ago at Blue Bell Park.
Texas A&M will send its usual trio of Ryan Prager, Justin Lamkin and Myles Patton to the mound this weekend. In 153 innings of work this season, the rotation has combined for a 4.00 ERA and 159 strikeouts.
Lamkin leads the group with a 3.25 ERA, 57 strikeouts and six quality starts. The junior also ranks third among the SEC in walks allowed per nine (2.05), seventh in strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.75), eighth in ERA, ninth in WHIP (1.10) and 10th in strikeouts. Patton leads the SEC in walks allowed per nine (1.70) and sits fifth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (5.78). As a pitching staff, Texas A&M leads the nation in walks allowed per nine (2.73) and ranks fourth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.46), 10th in WHIP (1.23) and 24th in shutouts (3).
During the Aggies’ seven-game win streak, Bear Harrison and Caden Sorrell have led the way offensively. Harrison is batting .429 to go along with three homers and 15 RBI during the stretch, while Sorrell is slashing .480/.600/1.120 with four home runs and 11 RBI. As a team, the Maroon & White have scored 91 runs to go along with 16 doubles and 19 homers.
