Shortly before WrestleMania 41 Night kicks off, WWE has officially announced that they acquired the legendary Mexican wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide, also known as AAA.
The news was announced with several iconic luchadors around the announcement desk, including Rey Mysterio, Penta, Rey Fenix, Andrade, and many more.

AAA was originally founded in 1992 by Antonio Peña and Konnan. It has since gone on to become one of the most popular wrestling companies in the world, currently boasting talent like Alberto El Patron (formerly Alberto Del Rio) and El Hijo de Vikingo.
At this point, there is no telling how this will affect either promotion.
