The NBA postseason gets underway on Tuesday. Two teams look to punch their ticket to the first round of the playoffs as the Golden State Warriors host the Memphis Grizzlies.
Despite the starpower on their roster, the Warriors are back in the Play-In Tournament for the second year in a row and the third time in the past five seasons. Steph Curry and company finished third in the Pacific Division, an improvement from last year. However, it was not enough in order to acquire an automatic spot in the first round of the playoffs.
In their three Play-In appearances, Golden State has lost each time.

This is the Grizzlies’ first-ever appearance in the Play-In. Granted, their eighth-place finish this season is a massive improvement following finishing 13th in the Western Conference last year. Ja Morant and the rest of the team have a good chance of moving on to the playoffs for the fourth time in the last five years.
The Warriors won three of the four meetings against the Grizzlies during the regular season.
