Bruins-Panthers Projected Lines, Pairings: Brad Marchand Not Ready

The Boston Bruins will return to home ice on Tuesday, looking to keep their winning ways when an old friend returns to TD Garden with the Florida Panthers.

Brad Marchand will return, but not on the ice.

Marchand remains out of the lineup after suffering an upper-body injury before being moved at the trade deadline. The B’s have only played one game without him, though it was a shutout win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

“It’s Florida, Marchy’s on their team — he’s not playing for us, I don’t think our focus should change much. We just need to stay in the moment like we did in Tampa on Saturday,” Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco said on Tuesday, per team-provided video. “We’re back home now for the first time since the trades, but I’d like our guys to use the energy in the building on our side tonight.”

Boston and Florida are set to drop the puck at 7 p.m. ET, following an hour of pregame coverage on NESN.
