“Saturday Night Live” continued its streak of A-list hosts and performers when Lady Gaga pulled double duty at Studio 8H March 8.
Part of the sketch comedy’s golden anniversary season, Gaga joined Jean Smart, Ariana Grande, Dave Chappelle and more on Season 50’s legendary lineup.
Earlier this year, the show celebrated 50 years on the air with a three-hour live special edition of the show, called “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” which aired Feb. 16.
But the season’s not over yet.
“SNL” is expected to continue airing new episodes into the spring. Last year, the show celebrated its Season 49 finale on May 18, 2024, hosted by Jake Gyllenhaal with musical guest Sabrina Carpenter.
Here’s what to know about the upcoming episode of “SNL.”
Is ‘SNL’ new March 15?
No, there is not a new episode of “Saturday Night Live” set to air March 15.
Instead, viewers can catch a re-broadcast of another Season 50 episode, hosted by Chris Rock with musical guest Gracie Abrams. The episode, which originally aired Dec. 14, 2024, featured a surprise cameo from Adam Sandler, a hilarious holiday sketch about mall Santas and a rousing performance of the hit “That’s So True.”
The re-air of Chris Rock’s 2024 episode of “SNL” will broadcast on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET.
Since “SNL50: The Anniversary Special,” the show has aired two new episodes. On March 1, Shane Gillis hosted with Tate McRae performing, followed by Gaga’s host and musical guest appearance.
The show has yet to announce its next batch of hosts.
