Quinta Brunson is turning the page on her three-year marriage.

The Abbott Elementary star filed for divorce from husband Kevin Anik on March 19, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

In the filing, the actress noted that she and her ex, who wed in October 2021, have a postnuptial agreement and asked the court to divide their property in accordance with the arrangement. She also requested that each party be responsible for their own attorney’s fees.

E! News reached out to reps for Quinta and Kevin for comment but has not heard back.

The estranged couple, who have no children together, largely kept their romance private as Quinta, 35, only offered occasional glimpses at their relationship on social media. However, she did share key milestones with her followers, like when she subtly confirmed her engagement in July 2020 by posting an Instagram photo with a diamond on her ring finger along with the caption, “More good news.”

And as the ABC sitcom—which she also created—achieved critical success, Quinta recognized her partner for being “the biggest support” and having “no need to dim” her achievements.

“That allows me to love him fully,” she told Business Insider in November 2022, “and be the person that I want to be, and am meant to be.”

She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Kevin that same year when she won her first-ever Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.

“I need to thank my wonderful husband,” Quinta said during her speech, “because he’s the most supportive man I’ve ever known.”

When she returned to the Emmys stage in 2024 to accept the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, she once again gave Kevin a sweet shoutout.

“I love my mom, my dad, my sisters, my brothers, my entire family so much,” Quinta gushed while fighting tears. “I love my husband. I’m so happy.”
