Despite facing a 3-1 deficit heading into today’s second leg, Morgan Rogers struck an optimistic tone when talking about Aston Villa’s chances yesterday.
“There’s massive belief,” he said. “Most people wrote us off before the tie. In the first leg we gave a pretty good account of ourselves, things we want to learn on for the second leg. We know what we need to do, we’re excited. If anyone’s going to turn it around, it’s us.
“It’s down to us. And I think we’re excited for that challenge. We’re looking forward to it. We know it’s going be difficult, we’re not saying we’re gonna do it by any stretch of imagination but we are definitely gonna give it a go and go out to win 100 per cent.”
