Auburn’s Johni Broome Makes NIL Announcement Before NCAA Tournament

The Auburn Tigers have boasted one of the most dominant teams in college basketball all season, led by Player of the Year candidate Johni Broome.

Auburn finished the season with a 28-5 record and a 15-3 mark in SEC play, heading into the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the South region.

Broome has been the leader of the Tigers all year, serving as the team’s leading scorer and go-to playmaker on both ends of the floor.

With Broome’s stardom has come plenty of NIL opportunities, such as a recent deal with Thayers, a brand known for skincare products.

“The Thayers Blemish Clearing Pads always keep my skin clean for game day,” posted Broome.

Broome’s deal with Thayers adds to his long list of NIL partnerships. He previously signed deals with Freddy’s Steakburgers, the Scarlet & Gold shop, Byrons Smokehouse and On To Victory.

So far this season, Broome has averaged 18.9 points, 10.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He leads Auburn in all three categories as well as producing an impressive 2.3 blocks per game, establishing himself as one of the best defensive players in the SEC.

Broome and Auburn are set to play Alabama State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.
