Augusta National announces gates will open at 8am Monday

UPDATE, April 7, 2025, 7:16 am – According to Masters.com, gates at the Augusta National will open at 8:00 a.m. Parking lots are open now.

The site says they will continue to monitor the approaching weather. The grounds will remain open this morning as the weather permits.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Expected inclement weather in the Augusta area Monday has called for a closure of all patron parking lots and patron gates for Monday’s practice rounds, according to a statement from Augusta National Golf Club.

Forecasts as of 6:25 p.m. Sunday evening, there is a 96% chance of thunderstorms and steady rain throughout the day with up to an inch of total rain possible. The statement from Augusta National says patron parking lots and gates will be closed until further notice with another update expected by Monday morning.
