Bears signed former Ravens DB and WR to one-year deals

On Thursday, the Chicago Bears signed two former Ravens, inking veteran wide receiver Miles Boykin and veteran defensive back Shaun Wade into one-year contracts.

Boykin, a third round selection (93rd overall) by Baltimore in the 2019 NFL draft joins the Bears after 73 career games (25 starts) for the Ravens (2019-21) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2022-23), spending portions of last season on the practice squads of the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks. Boykin has 38 career receptions for 498 yards (13.1 avg.), seven touchdowns, and 17 special-teams tackles.

Wade spent the entire 2024 season on the Chargers’ practice squad. Drafted in the fifth round (160th overall) by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2021 NFL Draft, Wade has appeared in 20 career games (six starts), all with the New England Patriots. After spending the offseason and training camp with Baltimore in 2021, Wade was traded to New England before the start of the regular season. In 2023, Wade saw action in 14 games for New England, starting six in the secondary for the Patriots.
