Following months of rumors, speculations, insider reports, leaks, data-mining discoveries, and “accidental slip-ups” made by the Xbox Support team, Bethesda has finally confirmed the existence of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.

Announced via the studio’s social media channels, the long-awaited remaster is set to premiere tomorrow, April 22, 2025, at 11 AM ET. As of now, it’s unclear whether the game will be released, shown off in a trailer, or something else entirely, but there’s a real possibility it could launch immediately, making it one of, if not the most significant shadow-drop in gaming history.
