The Los Angeles Lakers have had their fair share of injuries over the last few weeks, forcing LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves to miss some time.
On Thursday, with all three stars out, the Lakers hosted Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, who have dropped their last two games. And with numerous players sidelined, LeBron’s son, Bronny James, was able to get some real NBA action.
Bronny made some noise after checking in with just over five minutes to play in the first quarter, hitting a few shots in the first half. He even led the Lakers in scoring at halftime with eight points.
But there was one play that really caught the attention of many, and it didn’t result in any points. At one point in the game, Bronny received the ball and was face-to-face with Giannis.
The former USC guard made a couple of moves before getting past Giannis with ease. However, the ball was knocked out of Bronny’s hands as he went up for a layup.
NBA fans loved Bronny pulling out the moves against a player like Giannis, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.
“BRONNY HAD GIANNIS ON SKATES,” one fan said.
“BRONNY JAMES HAD GIANNIS LOST,” added a second.
“The fact that Giannis got crossed up by bronny and got blown by so bad that he grabbed his shoulder and still no foul was called is nasty work,” wrote a third.
“BRONNY WAS PUTTING THE MOVES ON GIANNIS,” posted a fourth.
“BRONNY BROKE GIANNIS’ ANKLES,” joked a fifth.
“Bronny James just CROSSED Up Giannis,” commented another.

What makes Bronny’s crossover on Giannis more impressive is the Bucks star’s defensive resume. The “Greek Freak” has won a Defensive Player of the Year award and has been named to five All-Defensive teams.
The Lakers will be back in action on Saturday against the Chicago Bulls. With LeBron close to a return, Los Angeles will look to finish the final 13 games strong before the playoffs begin.
