Chris Hughes shares cozy bedside selfie with JoJo Siwa amid rumored romance

Relationship status aside, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are tighter than two peas in a pod.

The pop singer and British TV personality, whose close relationship on “Celebrity Big Brother” has fueled media speculation of a romance, gave fans another window into their growing bond on June 1 in an intimate photo shared on Hughes’ Snapchat story.

The photo shows a shirtless Hughes, 32, lying in bed as a seemingly asleep Siwa, 22, nuzzles against his chest. Hughes can also be seen cradling Siwa’s head and planting a kiss on her forehead. “Sleeepinnn beauty,” the post reads.

The affectionate selfie comes nearly two weeks after Siwa and Hughes drew buzz after sharing a series of tender photos of themselves spending time together after their controversial stint on the reality game show.

Reflecting on her birthday week, Siwa shared a set of photos on Instagram May 21 that included intimate shots with Hughes. “Absolutely beautiful, wouldn’t change a single thing. A week I’ll remember for the rest of my life.” The previous day, Hughes gave a similar shoutout to Siwa in his own photo carousel, writing, “The previous 7 days have been the prettiest.”

Siwa’s rumored romance with Hughes comes after the singer’s ex Kath Ebbs criticized their breakup and accused the former child star of “emotional cheating” amid Siwa and Hughes’ closeness in the “Big Brother” house. Ebbs said in a viral video in April that “everything we saw unfold on what I thought was a fake reality show, where I didn’t need to worry about the validity of my relationship, was, in fact, laced in a lot of truth.”

During a “This Morning” interview days after Ebbs’ video, Siwa said the isolation of being on “Celebrity Big Brother” inspired her to take stock of issues in her life, including her romance with Ebbs. “I really realized things that I was OK with in my life that I should never have been OK with in the first place,” she said.

Siwa, who opened up about her evolving outlook on her sexuality on the British reality show, welcomed Pride Month in a heartfelt statement on her June 1 Instagram story. “Everyone’s story is different, and everyone’s journey is different. The most beautiful thing about love is that it’s just love,” she wrote.
