Colorado wide receiver LaJohntay Wester drafted by Baltimore Ravens

Colorado wide receiver LaJohntay Wester is officially an NFL rookie after being picked by the Baltimore Ravens in the 2025 NFL draft with pick No. 203 in the sixth round.

Here’s what the speedy Wester brings to the Ravens, based on his career with Colorado.

Wester adds a speedy, yet small, receiver to the Ravens’ pass-catching corps. He hauled in 19 touchdowns over the past two seasons and has scored multiple times as a runner and returner. In the NFL, he will likely have to perform first as a return man before receiving significant offensive snaps.

Wester holds top-end speed that can stress the secondary of opponents. He uses his agility to beat tacklers and has solid yards after catch ability. Wester can be a versatile player in both the running and return game. His small body could be an issue in the NFL with more physical defenders.

In one season at Colorado, Wester racked up 74 receptions, 931 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 16.6 yards per reception. He was a key deep threat for Colorado’s offense in 2024.
