Police searched a lake Tuesday for a Princeton University student who has been missing since Saturday.
Lauren Blackburn, a 23-year-old undergraduate student from Indiana, was reported missing by the university’s Department of Public Safety on Tuesday.
Blackburn is a member of the Class of 2026. He was last seen around 6 p.m. Saturday near the school’s Firestone Library on Washington Road, according to campus officials.
He was wearing blue ripped jeans, a yellow t-shirt, a black zippered hoodie and blue flat-bottom shoes. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair, according to a university alert sent to the campus community.

Around midnight Tuesday, police began an ongoing water search in Lake Carnegie following the missing person report. The lake, used by Princeton University’s rowing team, is a reservoir that stretches across several towns in Mercer and Middlesex counties.
Hamilton Township police and K-9 units were on the scene, using drones and sonar units to assist in the search, 6abc reported.
School officials said there may be increased police presence on campus as they search for the student.
