In a match against Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings batted first and scored 176 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten with a half-century, while Shivam Dube also contributed significantly with a fifty. Young player Ayush Matre made a notable impression with a quick cameo.

Opening the innings for Chennai Super Kings, Telugu cricketer Shaik Rasheed scored 19 runs off 20 balls, including one boundary, before being dismissed by bowler Mitchell Santner. Fellow opener Rachin Ravindra failed to make an impact and was dismissed after scoring just 5 runs.

At a crucial stage, Ayush Matre boosted the innings by scoring 32 runs off 15 balls, hitting four boundaries and two sixes. Shivam Dube played a steady knock of 50 runs from 32 deliveries, which included two fours and four sixes. Ravindra Jadeja remained not out with 53 runs from 35 balls, decorated with four boundaries and two sixes.

Among the Mumbai Indians bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah claimed two wickets, while Deepak Chahar, Ashwinikumar, and Mitchell Santner each took one wicket.
