Detroit Red Wings game vs Buffalo Sabres: How to watch nationally televised game

After dropping their sixth consecutive loss to Ottawa on Monday, the Detroit Red Wings look to get back into the win column when the Buffalo Sabres visit for the teams’ final faceoff of the season.

Detroit has bested the Sabres in two of their three previous matchups this season, but have won each game by only a goal. The last time the teams met, the Wings pulled off a 6-5 shootout victory.

The six-game losing streak marks the lowest point thus far in the Todd McLellan era. Since replacing Derek Lalonde in late December, McLellan has accumulated a 17-11-2 record and led the team to a seven-game winning streak twice this year. Despite a lack-luster trade deadline, the Detroit sits three spots out a Wild Card spot.

With only 18 games left in the season, the Wings will need to get back on track in they look to make their return to the playoffs.
