GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Early voting is underway for the special election in the Republican-leaning congressional district 6, but the Democratic candidate has managed to raise ten times the amount of his opponent.
Federal campaign numbers show donors have contributed nearly $9.5 million to Josh Weil while Randy Fine has not yet topped a million.
Weil is trending this week on the Actblue website, which solicits donations for Democratic candidates from donors all over the country.
