EDINA, Minn. — M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina is on lockdown after reports of a patient’s family being armed with a gun at the building.

A spokesperson for the hospital said multiple agencies are responding to the incident and are actively searching for a suspect. Edina Police & Fire Departments are urging people to avoid the area near the 6400 block of France Avenue until further notice.
