6th in the West FC Dallas (11 points, 3-2-2) welcomes back Jesus Ferreira and 12th in the West Seattle Sounders (6 points, 1-3-3) for a 7:30 kickoff at Toyota Stadium.
Seattle’s 3,611 completed passes are the 2nd most in MLS. Seattle has 58% possession on the season, Dallas 44% (Fbref). Expect long periods of Seattle possession. #LuchiBall

Get well soon, Paul.
With Sebastian Lletget out, Coach Eric Quill has some tough choices to make. He’s also on a three-game unbeaten streak.
So, the more obvious choice is to keep the formation that has been working. Quill usually calls it a 4-3-1-2, which demonstrates that its best quality is getting two flanking 8s next to Ramiro in the middle. The choice that most rewards the recent good play is to stick in another 8 for Lletget.
The options are Show Cafumana (who hasn’t played a minute), Tsiki Ntsabeleng (6 games, 153 minutes), or Diego Garcia (who did not travel with North Texas SC on Friday). The obvious guess based on PT is Ntsabeleng, but I would like to see Show if he’s fit.
Given the way Leo Chu has played and the value Anderson Julio brought last game. *I* would put Julio in for Chu. Chu is facing his former team, though, and FCD is playing well.
Choice two, does Quill go to the 4-2-3-1 that we saw late against Atlanta? It is his preferred formation.
Quill would effectively be replacing an 8 (Lletget) with a wing (Julio), making just one change in personnel. In that case, Julio and Chu would be the wings (or maybe Bernard Kamungo?). Realistically, Patrickson Delgado would probably stay on in the double pivot with Ramiro. This tactic would at times look like a 4-4-2 defensively in the low block.
In my prediction, I’m going to stick with the diamond 4 as it’s been getting results, and the goals allowed are down since Quill implemented it. But really, I’m about 50/50 on the formation change happening.
