- The match halts as the players take a cooling break. The mercury is high in Riyadh right now and the conditions are definitely challenging to play in.
- Al Nassr with another good attack as a cutback finds Duran with an open net to aim for. However, his shot is blocked by Al Fahad and goes out of play.
- Mane slips a through ball for Duran, who slips away from the last line of defence and goes for a shot at goal. The ball hits the woodwork and comes back into play before it is cleared away to safety. However, the offside flag goes up against Duran.
- Otavio threads a good through ball for Ronaldo, and the latter takes a first-time grounded shot from a tight angle. However, there is hardly any power in the shot and Raed catche the ball with ease.
- Ronaldo gets the ball inside the box and goes for goal but Al Fahad gets a good block and sends the ball out for a corner.
- Otavio tries to head the ball back to his keeper, but the power is too low and puts the ball in the path of Khaleej’s Egyptian forward, Sherif. Sherif gets a header away from close range, but it lacks power and Bento collects the ball.
- As expected, Al Nassr is enjoying more of the ball in these opening minutes. Right now, the Al Khaleej defence is under pressure as Ronaldo and Co look to split open their opponent’s defence.
- Al Nassr stitches a good attack in the final third. Mane’s cutback finds Otavio, who takes a first-time shot from the edge of the box. However, Khaleej keeper Raed reacts well to make the save. Eventually, the offside flag comes up, which means if Otavio found the net, the goal would be ruled out.
