UNC basketball and Ole Miss will play in the first round of the 2025 men’s NCAA Tournament.
The time and date have been set for the round of 64 matchup. UNC is coming off a 95-68 win against San Diego State in the First Four.
The 11th-seeded Tar Heels (23-13) will face the sixth-seeded Rebels (22-11) at 4:05 p.m. ET on Friday in Milwaukee. The game will be televised on TNT. Kevin Harlan, Dan Bonner, Steve Van Gundy and Lauren Shehadi will have the TV call.
UNC and Ole Miss played twice in the 1920s, with the Tar Heels losing 34-32 in 1923 before winning 38-23 in 1926. The winner will face No. 3 seed Iowa State (24-9) or No. 14 Lipscomb (25-9) on Sunday for a spot in the Sweet 16.
