Garcelle Beauvais is leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons on the show.
“Hey, guys, so I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Garcelle, 58, said in a video posted via Instagram on Tuesday, March 25. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
Garcelle explained that “one of the reasons” she decided to leave the show is because of her two youngest sons, twins Jaid and Jax, both 17. (Garcelle made her RHOBH debut during season 10 in 2020.)
“Their last year of high school is next year, and I want to be a part of that, and Jaid is starting a new career, and I want to be a part of that too,” she continued. “Secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting in. I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon.”
Garcelle Beauvais is opening up about Crystal Kung Minkoff’s departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. “I was disappointed about Crystal,” Garcelle, 57, told Entertainment Tonight at the Gracie Awards in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 21. “I think she’ll be fine. Crystal will be fine. I’m not worried about her,” she added. Garcelle […]
She continued, “I just want to say thank you to Andy Cohen, to Bravo, NBCUniversal, Evolution, 32 Flavors, the producers, the crew and, of course, the ladies.”
Garcelle noted that Andy, 56, told her she can “come back any time, the door will always be open.” She added: “You never know, I might pop in sometime.”
The reality star concluded her social media announcement with a message to the fans.
“I want to say thank you so much, you guys have cheered me on, supported me and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf,” she said. “It means a lot, and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So, see you later.”
The upcoming 14th season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is equal parts “interesting” and “explosive” — at least according to Bravo stars Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais. “I think that there’s a lot of us that are going through many tumultuous things in our lives,” Sutton, 52, told Us Weekly exclusively while attending the […]
She captioned the video with a look toward the future, writing, “CHEERS TO THE NEXT CHAPTER.”
Garcelle’s RHOBH departure comes hours before the show’s season 14 finale is set to air on Bravo. The forthcoming episode shows the final part of the women’s trip to St. Lucia — and the aftermath of several people vs. Sutton Stracke. (Garcelle and Sutton, who might be the cast’s closest duo, even got into a tiff during the trip.)
Several Housewives have weighed in on Garcelle’s announcement in the comments section of her Instagram post.
“Sad to see you go but totally understand the reasons why,” Real Housewives of Miami star Adriana de Moura wrote. “Best of luck on new projects!”
Fellow RHOM star Guerdy Abraira added, “We love you! Keep shining and keep rising.”
