The iconic Chicago music festival has unveiled its massive lineup for 2025, and it’s boasting some of the most ambitious headliners since the festival established itself in the early 90s. Lollapalooza kicks off on Thursday, July 31st and concludes on Sunday, August 3rd, and it will feature a wide variety of huge names in both pop and alternative cultures including Sabrina Carpenter, Tyler, the Creator, Korn, and Doechii among many others. It’ll be hard to top the festival’s incredible 2024 performances, particularly Chappell Roan’s record-breaking Lollapalooza set, however, 2025’s lineup is already shaping up to be a fierce competitor to last year’s.

Who’s Headlining Lollapalooza In 2025?

Lollapalooza will feature over 170 artists across its four days, including ten headlining acts. What’s most striking about Lollapalooza’s 2025 lineup is the fact that the festival has managed to nab a major headliner for a spectrum of music genres this year. While pop music is certainly the dominant genre at this year’s festival, there’s at least a main act for just about every relevant music genre, whether it’s pop, pop-rock, country, rap, or metal. In no particular order, these are Lollapalooza’s 2025 headliners:

  • Korn
  • Olivia Rodrigo
  • Luke Combs
  • Sabrina Carpenter
  • Doechii
  • Gracie Abrams
  • A$AP Rocky
  • TWICE
  • Rüfüs Du Sol
  • Tyler, the Creator

First Time Headliners And Notable Acts

Among this year’s headliners, there are a number of artists returning to perform at Lollapalooza, in addition to new first-time headliners. Korn, one of the only metal acts featured in this year’s lineup, last graced Lollapalooza in 1997, which was right around the time the band had become the face of nu metal. For fans of nu metal, particularly bands like Korn Limp Bizkit, the up and coming band Silly Goose has also been announced as a supporting act at this year’s festival and they’re well worth checking out.

After performing as a supporting artist at 2023’s Lollapalooza, Sabrina Carpenter is returning this year as a headliner for the very first time. The pop star has achieved some massive milestones since her last Lollapalooza appearance from winning multiple Grammy awards, topping the Billboard charts to touring alongside Taylor Swift.

However, as far as the most anticipated artists, Doechii could have a Chappell Roan-like moment this year. With the viral success of her latest mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal, which got her her biggest headlining tour to date, in addition to her first Grammy win for Best Rap Album, Doechii is experiencing one of the biggest cultural moments out of any of the major acts on this year’s bill.

Lollapalooza Ticket Prices And Presale Date

Presale tickets for Lollapalooza went on sale today (March 20th), and four-day tickets have already sold out. One and two-day general admission tickets have been made available today as well, with prices starting at $169 for single-day and $338 for two-day passes. While four-day passes are listed as ‘sold out,’ there is a waitlist for ’Tier 2’ four-day general admission passes which are currently priced at $415.

For concertgoers looking for a premium experience, Lollapalooza has a number of VIP packages available that range from $1,670 (single-day VIP) to $4,500 (four day VIP). Additionally, there’s a $25,000 LOLLA INSIDER ticket package which gives fans everything from front-stage viewing to a personal concierge at the festival.

Bottom Line

With new and other like-minded U.S. music festivals being announced left and right, Lollapalooza’s 2025 lineup looks to cement itself as one of the most worthwhile and premium multi-day festivals there is. Tickets for Lollapalooza are already selling fast, and given the festival’s longstanding history and ambitious 2025 headliners, it’s likely to be another record breaking year for Lollapalooza.
