While Chang Ho Lee didn’t quite live up to his desire to become the Korean version of Khabib Nurmagomedov earlier tonight (Sat., April 5, 2025) at UFC Vegas 105 LIVE on ESPN/ESPN+ from inside UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada, but the rising bantamweight prospect still delivered a vicious TKO finish using wrestling and ground-and-pound.

Lee was matched up against former Contender Series winner Cortavious Romious, who threw up a dud against Gaston Bolanos in his UFC debut this past November. Romious badly missed weight on Friday so he was looking to turn in a memorable performance to erase any doubt the promotion may have. Unfortunately for him, he ran into a Korean wrestler who would stop at nothing to find a finish.
Romious had some good moments in the first round, but Lee was always able to escape and gain the upper hand. His relentless pressure on the ground with heavy punches and elbows from the top bloodied Romious. Lee nearly finished the fight with a rear-naked choke, but Romious somehow defended it to make the bell.

That’s when the “Korean Khabib” unloaded vicious punches and elbows that badly hurt Romious. The referee took a little longer than expected to step in, but he eventually did.
