The first round of March Madness 2025 is almost in the books, and rounding out the West regional games tonight is a matchup featuring the two-time defending NCAA champs.
In a bit of an up-and-down season following two consecutive March Madness wins, the UConn Huskies went 23-10, which was good for third place in the Big East. It’s the team’s fifth consecutive year qualifying for the tournament, and though the odds are stacked against them, the quest for a three-peat begins tonight.
Their first opponent? Oklahoma, who earned a No. 9 seed with a 20-13, finishing 14th in the SEC.
Tonight’s winner will move on to play the winner of the Florida vs. Norfolk State in the second round on Sunday; here’s how to tune in.
UConn plays Oklahoma in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament today, March 21. Tip-off is at 9:25 p.m. ET.
The UConn vs. Oklahoma game is on TNT.
