After a big quarterfinal win yesterday afternoon, the St. John’s Red Storm are back in action tonight.
The tournament favorites dominated Butler University in a 78-57 win that moved them into the semifinal round of the Big East Tournament. The No. 1 seed, who occasionally call Madison Square Garden their home court, are undefeated there this season, going 10-0. Tonight will be their chance to make it 11.
To do that, they’ll have to get past No. 5 seed Marquette University, who won their quarterfinal against Xavier University by just two points — but to win, they had to overcome a 14-point deficit earlier in the game.
The teams faced each other twice during the Big East regular season, and St. John’s won both matchups, though one win was much closer than the other.
Today’s game is a big one, so keep reading to find out what you’ll need to tune in.
The St. John’s Red Storm plays the Marquette Golden Eagles in the semifinals of the 2025 Big East Tournament today, March 14. Tip-off at Madison Square Garden is set for 6:30 p.m. ET.
Today’s St. John’s game is airing on Fox. If you don’t have cable or an antenna, you’ll need a live TV streaming service to watch the game.
Here are two cable replacement streaming services that we recommend, both of which come with free trials.
- DIRECTV Stream: MySports Genre Pack ($69.99/month) or Entertainment base plan ($86.99/month), both include five-day free trials
- Hulu + Live TV: base plan is three days free, then $82.99/month
You can also watch the Big East Tournament on Sling TV with the Sling Blue plan. Though there’s no free trial, you’ll get 50% off your first month of the base plan, bringing the total down to $25.50 for the first month ($50.99/month after).
