‘Hands Off’ protesters demonstrate against Trump, Musk at California Capitol

With organized protests against President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk underway across the US on Saturday, more than 1000 people are rallying at the California Capitol. The Sacramento Police Department has northbound 10th Street at N Street due to the protest. A KCRA 3 crew was outside of the Capitol capturing the demonstration and talking to organizers.More than 1,200 “Hands Off!” demonstrations have been planned by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and fair-elections activists. The protests are planned for the National Mall in Washington, D.C., state capitols and other locations in all 50 states.Organizers initially expected at least 1000 people at the Capitol, according to a permit with the California Highway Patrol. But KCRA 3 was told they expect attendance to be well over that initial number.
