J-Hope of BTS and Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers have met up, and Doncic even gave J-Hope a pair of shoes!

As seen in a video posted on NBA’s social media accounts, the encounter took place packstage at an LA Lakers game.

Doncic gave the BTS member a shoe box that had the initials LD. J-Hope opened it and held up a pair of white basketball shoes with black and neon green details.

Luka was heard saying, “They’re not out yet.” Meanwhile, J-Hope kept saying “wow” and was clearly excited about the new pair.

On his Instagram Stories, J-Hope shared more of his NBA experience, which also includes getting a customized Lakers jersey with his name and birth year 94 on the back as well as the full courtside adventure.

In 2023, J-Hope’s fellow BTS member Suga was named an NBA ambassador. He also met Doncic.

J-Hope is set to visit Manila next week for a two-night concert of his solo tour, Hope on the Stage.

This year, he released the solo singles “Sweet Dreams” and “Mona Lisa.”
