Jonas Brothers book August concert at Comerica Park, one of 10 stadiums on anniversary tour

The Jonas Brothers’ upcoming 20th anniversary celebration will include the group’s biggest Detroit show yet.

The sibling pop trio will play Comerica Park on Aug. 28 as part of JONAS20: Living the Dream, a 43-date tour that will kick off in the brothers’ home state of New Jersey.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster, following a Thursday presale running from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. Registration for the presale is open now at livemu.sc/jonasbrothers.

Sunday morning’s tour announcement launched the group’s daylong JONASCON event in New Jersey, where brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas are gathering with fans to celebrate the group’s rise from teenage mall band to the upper tier of the pop world.

The Tigers’ ballpark is one of 10 stadiums on the three-month tour, which is otherwise made up of arena shows. The run is scheduled to start Aug. 10 in East Rutherford, N.J., before winding its way across North America and wrapping up Nov. 14 in Connecticut.

Also featured at Comerica Park and other stadium dates will be DJ-producer Marshmello, whose work with the Jonas Brothers has included 2021’s infectious global hit “Leave Before You Love Me.”

The group said Sunday the upcoming tour production will include “dedicated sets” chronicling each chapter of the brothers’ career saga — including their solo work and band side projects — culminating with a headlining performance by the group.
