EIDNA, Minn. (FOX 9) – Edina police say there is a law enforcement presence near Fairview Southdale Hospital Tuesday afternoon.

The Edina Police & Fire Department posted on social media that there is a large ongoing incident near the 6400 block of France Avenue, and to avoid the area until further notice. Sources tell FOX 9 Fairview Southdale Hospital was placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon. The lockdown was lifted around 4:15 p.m.

The Edina Police and Fire Department said the incident has been cleared as of 4:20 p.m. The area around Fairview Southdale Hospital is secure, and roads in the area are open.
