LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The National Weather Service has reported the Las Vegas Valley has reached record heat Friday afternoon.
According to officials the temperature at Harry Reid International Airport reached 95° this afternoon.
The NWS says the official high for today was 96°
They say this breaks the 2023 record of 93°.

Officials report it is expected to cool down over the next few days.
FOX5 first alert weather team report a warm weekend ahead with possible gusts of wind of up to 30-40 mph around the valley.
