Shoot me in the face. Pacers L. This is not the time to fuck with LeBron James. Bronny went scorched Earth today on his biggest haters and freakish dick riders with the LeBronversation, then rips the heart out of the Indiana Pacers with a last second put back. 

I would have much rather the first half LakeShow blowout continue, than the Pacers cock tease me with the W. Other than LBJ tipping in the game winner, the biggest take away from this game is what in the hell was Rick Carlisle doing on those final possessions? Up 1 and the Lakers ball, I love taking Haliburton out to put in a defender, it worked. BUT not calling a timeout when the Pacers got the ball back to put in one of the most clutch players in the NBA so Mathurin can chuck up a prayer on one leg?! What are we doing?!?!?! Did we forget the last second shot against the Bucks?

I see the vision here Rick, I do. Mathurin could have maybe had his moment on LeBron where we see Benny is truly a DAWG, Buuuuuut we didn’t get that. We got a forced shot and gave LA the ball back. 

I’m not a coach so I thought maybe there was something I didn’t see, but putting your best shooter and facilitator into the game seems like a no brainer. With a 2 pointer you are now up 3 and defense becomes easier, Hali is less of a liability so keeping him in the game isn’t as big of a problem. I think Rick over thought this and got too cute. Even future HOF coaches make mistakes, so hopefully Rick learns a valuable lesson from this loss – keep your best player in the game in the biggest moments.
