CLEVELAND (WJW) – The NFL Draft kicks off Thursday evening and the Cleveland Browns are gearing up for the second overall pick in Round 1.
It’s the first time the team has had a first round pick since 2021.
The Browns just recently signed veteran free agent Joe Flacco to a one-year deal and Kenny Pickett from the Philadelphia Eagles, but comments from Jimmy Haslam last month suggest the team is still likely drafting for a quarterback.
The team also needs a running back, left tackle, wide receiver, linebacker and defensive tackle.
Round 1 starts at 8 p.m. (EST) at Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers.
After making a trade with the Houston Texans, the Browns have eight draft picks this year.
Here’s when Cleveland will be up on the clock:
Round 1, Thursday, April 24, 8 p.m.
Round 2-3, Friday, April 25, 7 p.m.
- Browns pick #33, Round 2
- Browns pick #67, Round 3

Rounds 4-7, Saturday, April 26, 12 p.m.
- Browns pick #104, Round 4
- Browns pick #166, Round 5
