Marvel Studios has come up with a surprise announcement that seems to be slowly leading to the cast of Avengers: Doomsday. After last year only had one film in the franchise, though Deadpool & Wolverine turned out to be one of the MCU’s best movies, the shared universe is about to bounce back in a major way. Marvel Studios’ 2025 entries include a new team with Thunderbolts* and the debut of the Fantastic Four. Future films also include Spider-Man 4 and two Avengers entries, and Marvel’s new announcement is related to Avengers: Doomsday.

On its social media accounts, Marvel has started broadcasting the announcement of Avengers: Doomsday‘s cast.

Chairs for Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan and Leititia Wright have been revealed. There are almost 2 million fans tuned into the broadcast at the moment. Robert Downey Jr. was previously announced to return to the MCU as the franchise’s new main villain, Doctor Doom. The rest of the Fantastic Four, members of the Thunderbolts, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, and more are also expected to appear in the ambitious MCU movie.
