Metro police respond to reports of shooting on Las Vegas Strip; no victims located

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police responded to reports of a possible shooting at a hotel property on the Las Vegas Strip Saturday evening.

Just before 5:40 p.m., police responded to reports of a possible shooting inside a hotel property in the 2800 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard near Circus Circus Drive.

As of 6:30 p.m. Saturday, no victims or evidence of a shooting were located, according to police. The hotel property was evacuated out of an “abundance of caution,” and there was a heavy police presence in the area.
