Midstate schools announce closures, delays ahead of severe weather

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Some Midstate schools have announced closures or delays ahead of the severe weather that’s set to impact the area beginning Wednesday night.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to move into Middle Tennessee early Wednesday evening.

First Alert Weather Days are in effect Wednesday through Saturday night for the risk of severe weather and flash flooding.

  • Immaculate Conception School Opening Late Thursday 2 Hours
  • Lead Christian Academy Closed Thursday
  • Lebanon Special School District Opening Late Thursday 2 Hours
  • Macon County Schools Opening Late Thursday 1 Hour Bus Driver Discretion
