Western Conference: Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder to an NBA-best 15-1 record, including a perfect 7-0 road record. He led the NBA in scoring during March with 34.7 points per game to go along with 7.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.14 steals.

Eastern Conference: White posted averages of 27.7 points (ninth in the NBA in March), 4.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists during the month. He recorded a career-long streak of 15 straight games with 20-plus points. The Chicago guard’s career month was highlighted by a career-best 44 points with five rebounds and two steals on March 6. White also added a career-high 11 rebounds with 25 points in his first double-double of the season on March 29.

Defensive Players of the Month

Golden State Warriors forward-center Draymond Green and Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels have been named the Kia NBA Defensive Players of the Month for games played in March.

Western Conference: Green averaged 1.9 steals (third-best in the West) in March, helping the Warriors lead the league in that category for the month. His activity pushed the Warriors to the fourth-best defensive rating in the NBA (109.7).

Eastern Conference: “The Great Barrier Thief” recorded a league-best 46 steals during March and led the NBA with 3.3 steals, 5.4 deflections and 3.1 forced turnovers. Daniels recorded his 200th steal of the season during the month, becoming the youngest player (22 years, six days) since at least the 1973-74 season to swipe 200 steals in a single season. The winner of this award in October/November, Daniels is the second player to earn multiple Defensive Player of the Month honors.

Rookies of the Month

Western Conference: Castle averaged a rookie-best 19.5 points to go with 4.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists during March. Having won this award in January, Castle joins David Robinson, Tim Duncan and Victor Wembanyama as the only players in Spurs franchise history to win the award multiple times in a season.

Eastern Conference: Risacher averaged 16.3 points during March, the most he has averaged in a single month this season. The hot month included a career-high 36 points against Milwaukee. The 2024 No. 1 pick was also named the Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month for February, becoming the only rookie this season to be named Rookie of the Month in back-to-back months.

Coaches of the Month

Western Conference: Daigneault receives his third career, and second consecutive, Coach of the Month award after leading the Thunder to a 15-1 record during March — the best in the NBA — and most wins in a month in Thunder history. During the month, the Thunder scored 126 points per game (first in NBA) on 50.5% shooting from the field (second in NBA), while shooting 42.6% from beyond the arc (first in NBA). With Daigneault’s leadership, Oklahoma City clinched the Northwest Division title and the No. 1 playoff seed in the West in March.

Eastern Conference: During March, the Celtics posted the second-best record in the league (14-1) and the best record in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics held the highest net rating in the East during the month (11.6) and made franchise history with their most recent road trip, going 6-0 on a single trip for the first time ever. Boston stepped up its defense during the month, holding opponents to 107.7 points per game (second in East) while opponents shot 45.2% from the floor (first in East).
