Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft is finally here, with the Detroit Lions soon to round out this year’s draft haul.

So far, the draft news has been dominated by two quarterbacks: Miami’s Cam Ward, who went first overall to the Tennessee Titans, and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, who fell to the fifth round to the Cleveland Browns after many analysts expected him to be a much higher draft pick.

Meanwhile, the Lions surprised some by drafting Ohio State defensive tackle Tyleik Williams with their first-round selection, as many experts predicted they would select an edge rusher with the 28th overall pick.

The Lions entered day 3 without a fifth-round pick, but traded up to grab LSU guard Miles Frazier with the 171st overall pick. After the trade with the New England Patriots to secure Frazier, the Lions are scheduled to have four picks on day 3.

In the second round, the Lions traded up to grab Georgia offensive guard Tate Ratledge, while trading up again in the third round to select Arkansas wide receiver (and Michigan native) Isaac TeSlaa.
