Don’t worry, because I’m here to help you with the answers for today’s NYT Mini crossword.
The NYT Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper’s larger and long-running crossword. Most days, there are between three and five clues in each direction on a five by five grid, but the puzzles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

It took me 2:31 to complete today’s NYT Mini.
Wow, that was a stinker for me. Partially my fault. I got stuck on 5 Across (TEXTS) and that terrible pun on 9 Across for VET. But I also thought for a while that 8 Across was “itty.” It didn’t really help that DELI worked with the last letter of that.
4 Down wasn’t really possible to solve until I figured out TEXTS and corrected my “itty” error. But once I had solved 5 Across, things finally started falling into place.
That’s it for me on NYT Mini coverage for now. See you in two weeks!
