Paddy has some harsh words for Arman Tsarukyan.
Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett is set to fight Michael Chandler tonight at UFC 314 in Miami, Florida. But, ahead of the big event, Paddy sat down with UFC legend Daniel Cormier on his YouTube channel for an interview.
During the interview, Daniel asked Paddy if he believes a win over Chandler could get him close, or even next, for a title shot. When Paddy said it probably won’t be next, Daniel Cormier asked him if he’d fight contender Arman Tsarukyan, who was set for a title fight but pulled out last minute due to injury. Paddy pondered that possibility, and Cormier asked him why he didn’t like Arman, to which he responded.
“Yeah, Arman’s a little bitch ass. You know what I mean?” Daniel Cormier then asked him why he doesn’t like Arman, to which Paddy replied “‘Cause he’s a little posh boy who’s had everything handed to him, you know what I mean? He has about 40 cars or something.”
Cormier then questioned if Arman actually has 40 cars and Paddy said; “Yeah, something stupid like that. Or like million dollar cars… Lad, have you not seen his Instagram? Yeah, he’s a rich kid. Dad’s a multi-millionaire isn’t he? His dad’s got a big crazy business. He’s a multi-multi millionaire. He’s never had to work hard in his life. Everything’s been passed down to him on a silver platter. This is what a hard working, working class lad looks like right here. He’s had everything handed to him. He even got the title shot handed to him and then he shit his pants, know what I mean? Flopped it. All the doctors told him “theres nothing wrong with you, you can fight” and he shit himself. He got gifted. Like, people say I got gifted the decision over Jared Gordon. He got gifted the decision over Charles, I didn’t think he won that fight. He just sat on top of him. You don’t win fights anymore by just doing that.”
If Paddy defeats Chandler tonight, Arman vs. Paddy could drum up a lot of interest in a possible contender bout!
