WASHINGTON – The press were rushed out of the Oval Office on Friday afternoon during Dr. Mehmet Oz’s swearing-in ceremony because a child fainted.

On Friday, President Donald Trump was speaking to the press following Oz’s swearing in as the new head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
While giving comments on the ongoing trade war with China and his continued emphasis on how Iran “can’t have a nuclear weapon,” a commotion ensued among the press.
White House staff can be heard shooing press out of the Oval Office and the president can be heard saying, “I hope she’s ok.”
A woman, who appeared to be Oz’s daughter, Daphne, was seen escorting a young girl away before cameras were cut.
A White House official confirmed to Fox News Digital that the girl was a family member of Oz’s and that she has recovered.
What we don’t know:
It’s unknown what caused the child to faint.

The 64-year-old will manage health insurance programs for roughly half the country, with oversight of Medicare, Medicaid or Affordable Care Act coverage. He steps into the new role as Congress is debating cuts to the Medicaid program, which provides coverage to millions of poor and disabled Americans.
