Much-needed rain is heading to North Texas. Clouds will continue to increase this afternoon with scattered rain and rumbles of thunder arriving late today into this evening.
After storms on Tuesday brought hail to parts of North Texas, another round of rain and storms will arrive Thursday and Friday.
Rain coverage will become more widespread Thursday night into Friday. While the overall severe weather threat is low, a few storms may still perk up and bring hail and damaging winds.
Some of the rain could be moderate to heavy at times but the moisture will be a welcomed sight after a dry stretch.
Additional rain and storm chances arrive late Sunday and again by the middle of next week.
