Red Wings @ Hurricanes – Preview and Game Thread

The Carolina Hurricanes (39-22-4) take on the Detroit Red Wings (31-28-6) as they look for their sixth win in a row tonight at the Lenovo Center. Game Time is 7 P.M. and the contest will be televised by the Fanduel Sports Network.

The Canes have a 7-3-0 record in their last 10 games.

They held practice yesterday and the lines were reported as following by Walt Ruff –

Andrei Svenchnikov is still injured and is not expected to play. Dmitri Orlov will be a game time decision.

Freddie Andersen is next in the goalie rotation and should start tonight. He is 12-1-1 lifetime against Detroit.

Seth Jarvis has scored goals in three straight games.

It seemed like just a week ago Carolina beat the Wings in Detroit, 2-1. (March 4rth)

The Wings have a 3-6-1 record in their last 10.

Petr Mrazek might get the nod in net for Detroit.
