Report: Kevin Owens Has ‘Significant Injury,’ Could Miss WWE WrestleMania 41

It sounds like the anticipated match between Kevin Owens and Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 might have to wait.

Despite continuing to appear on SmackDown, Kevin Owens hasn’t competed inside a WWE ring since his unsanctioned match against Sami Zayn last month at Elimination Chamber. Unfortunately, it sounds like there’s a good reason for that.

According to PW Nexus, Kevin Owens is dealing with an undisclosed injury. Due to this injury, there is no timetable set for his return to action.

This obviously puts Owens’ match with Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41 later this month in jeopardy. So much so that alternate plans have already been discussed for Orton’s match in Vegas.

This report has been backed up by Dave Meltzer on social media, who states that KO is dealing with a significant injury.

With WrestleMania right around the corner, PW Nexus also reports that Owens’ status for that show will be addressed later tonight on SmackDown.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Owens’ injury and WrestleMania status as it becomes available.
